PURCHASED FROM LIDL AT £7.                                               PRODUCED IN THE LIMESTONE COAST OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA, THIS OFFERING HAD A GOOD HEALTHY APPEARANCE WITH MEDIUM INTENSITY,AND A RUBY APPEARANCE. A PLEASANT BOUQUET, THIS WINE HAS A STRONG DARK FRUIT CHARACTER.  THERE WAS SOME SWEETNESS,BALANCED ACIDITY AND SOME TANNINS.GOOD FLAVOURS IN THE MOUTH GAVE A LASTING FLAVOUR. THIS WINE WAS ENJOYED BY US ALL AND ATTRACTED AN  AVERAGE SCORE OF 8/10. RECOMMENDED.

WINE NO. 2.  2016  PINOT NOIR MARLBOROUGH NEW ZEALAND.  13.5%VOL. PURCHASED FROM LIDL AT  £7.
PRODUCED IN SOUTH ISLANDS FAMOUS MARLBOROUGH REGION, THIS OFFERING WAS A VERY DIFFERENT OFFERING TO OUR FIRST WINE,  WITH A VERY PALE SIGHT AND A WEAK INTENSITY. IT  HAD A CLEAN BOUQUET AND  THE LIGHT BODY HAD A GOOD FRUIT TASTE IN THE MOUTH. THERE WAS NO SWEETNESS, AND IT HAD A TART ACIDITY, WITH  LOTS OF TANNINS.  IT ATTRACTED AN AVERAGE SCORE OF 5.5/10, AND WAS NOT RECOMMENDED. IT HAD A POOR COMPARISON WITH WINE NO 1.
